In perfumery vocabulary, Peru Balsam Residues "R" is associated with dark balsamic, smoky, leathery, cinnamic, vanillic and earthy. Its creative role is a deep base-note material with architectural presence, giving structure and character to complex accords.
In the organ, use it to build add burnt-sugar shadow to amber, enrich deepen tobacco and introduce give leather sweet resin. As base note, it offers signature rather than mere theme.
