In perfumery vocabulary, Pure Pennyroyal Mint Absolute pure is associated with pungent mint leaf, camphor, dry herb, earth, medicinal green and warm hay. Its creative role is an agile top-note instrument with vivid lift, giving structure and character to complex accords.
In the organ, use it to build wild mint accords, enrich herbal chypres and introduce aromatic leather. As top note, it offers signature rather than mere theme.
Absolute extraction preserves a broad, saturated portrait of the source. Traditionally, fragrant biomass is first solvent-extracted and the resulting concrete or resinoid is purified with alcohol, giving perfumers a dense material rich in less-volatile facets.
