Galbanum resinoid turns the shock of crushed green sap into a deep, resinous continuum of earth, pine and bitter wood. It is one of perfumery’s great structural greens, capable of making florals feel freshly cut and woods feel alive.

In perfumery vocabulary, Galbanum Resinoid is associated with bitter green, resinous, earthy, pine-like, woody and balsamic. Its creative role is a deep base-note material with architectural presence, giving structure and character to complex accords.
In the organ, use it to build build green chypres, enrich give florals a cut-stem shadow and introduce bind moss and woods. As base note, it offers signature rather than mere theme.
A resinoid is generally obtained by solvent extraction of dry botanical matter, gums, balsams or resins. It emphasises the low, enveloping register: balsamic warmth, texture and slow diffusion.
